Whipple Observatory Field(s): NGC 6791 Status and Plans: Nights of data acquired in 2002: 52 Nights of 2002 data analysed: 52 reduced; analysis ongoing. Planetary transit candidates thereby found: 0 Nights of data hoped for in 2003: 57 obtained, applying for 21. Our plans are to observe ~3 open clusters, for ~30 nights per cluster. Thus far we have been granted 20 nights for NGC 6791 (10 in May, 10 in June). In the next stage of the project we plan to obtain better lightcurves for transit candidates with a 2m class telescope. We also plan to take spectra with the MMT. A precision of 1 km/s will enable us to identify and reject stars with companions above 0.0075 M_solar. References or comments: 1.
